Where to Go for Care
If you have a true emergency, it’s important to call 911 or go straight to the emergency room (ER). But if you need care and it’s not an emergency, you may be able to save time and money by knowing all the options available to you. Check out what each of these care settings may be appropriate for, and note the average costs.
Important to note: ER visits for non-emergency care are not covered under your medical plan. If you experience an emergency, dial 911 or go to the ER. If you have questions about how to choose the right care option for non-emergency care, call UnitedHealthcare Care Connect at 1-844-859-5007.

*These numbers are national averages, not tied to a specific condition or treatment. Your out-of-pocket costs will vary based on plan design and provider that is chosen.
**Team members enrolled in a Walgreens HDHP HSA plan must pay 100% of the visit cost until the annual family deductible is met. Once the deductible is met, the $5 copay will apply.
Note that your plan will not cover visits that are out of network, so you should consider choosing network doctors and facilities.
Not Sure Where to Go?
